I Live With A Witch (Chapter 21)
It had been about a week since Eva busted me out of prison. Since then, police had dropped by the house at least three times to see if I had comeback to it. Once or twice, I could have sworn that Garrett was with them. Each time they came though, Eva was always ready to hide me. The first time she hid me in the practice room. The second time she turned me into a kitten. The third time she turned me invisible so that they couldn’t see me. However today, she had gone a new route. I was literally draped around her neck…as a golden necklace.
All I could do was dangle from her neck and wait for the cops to leave. I was unable to mov
Stars made of nightmares and skies made of fears
Hearts made of glass and a home built of tears
Cries made of silence and words made of knives
Dreams of the struggle to simply survive
Souls made of paper and minds made of flames
She is a piece of their loveliest game
No longer can she feel more than disgust
Even a rainbow does turn into dust…
I Am A Writer:
Gentlemen, today I speak to you
To convey an issue that has plagued the core of our community.
For so long have we been considered second-class;
To this day there are those who still believe that we are not artists.
But today is not about freedom, today is about honour,
Because there are many writers that still seek to shame us all...
I speak of those individuals, who take art from others.
Covers, photos, paintings, digital art, anime and manga.
It matters not where you draw your source from,
But every action impacts upon us as a community.
Why?
BECAUSE I AM A WRITER!
When I craft my works, when I write each and ev

I wait for a word

Girl unobserved”
I watched. He was fabulous at everything. He was the artist. He wrote, he drew, he sung. There was nothing he couldn’t do. He only worked in silence though. If it was too loud in the classroom, he would just observe what everyone else was doing.
I, on the other hand, couldn’t sculpt a thing. I couldn’t paint, couldn’t draw, and couldn’t think when there was silence. I needed noise. I needed music. It was the only thing that would allow me to work. It made me forget about the other

The Stars Above
Running with the wolves,
I’m losing my soul;
I left my land and found them
Even though I was told
They are dangerous things,
These beasts of the night
From their thick, red fur
And the mesmerizing light
In their brown, puppy eyes.
They stalk the forest
And hide behind oaks,
Not stopping to rest
Until the alpha says so;
The night grows still,
And the world is calm-
That is, at least until
The wolves begin to howl.
Their chant is like a melody,
In sync as all the woods
Cries the same melody.
They turn to the moon
In time to see her shine;
They sing to her
Underneath swaying pines
And howl their love,
Their praise as one-
They wait for

I choose to be me-Dialogue
"Ok, in order for you to get this job, you need to be serious."
"Serious? Why serious?"
"As you can see, this place isn't a theme park."
"Obviously, but I should be myself."
"Why is that?"
"So I won't end up working like you."
"Are you saying you're too cool for this job?"
"No, I'm saying you stink at it."
"Do you want me to call security?"
"Yeah, go ahead. Just don't blame me if you're taking away."
"Listen, I'm only calling them just for your own good."
"Oh really? For my own good?"
"Yes."
"Alright, I'll go."
"Thank you."
"Before I leave, let me tell you something else."
"Sure."
"Being yourself is better than being someone
I look up a the sky at midnight.
I see a black map
dotted with silver stars
connected with invisible lines
The points form pictures in the sky
I look through the window at midday.
I see the familiar golden orb hanging in the sky
smiling down at me.
It sends warm beams of light down at me
and I smile back.
I watch the sky at different times.
I see different things
but I always see stars.
